Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Perimeter platform and website (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Swavvy AB (“Perimeter”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
Perimeter is an external attack surface management platform. It performs automated scans of publicly accessible internet infrastructure associated with domains and assets that you register in the Service. Scan results, findings, reports, and related data are made available to you through the platform.
Perimeter scans only publicly accessible information. It does not access, and is not designed to access, systems that require authentication, bypass access controls, or exploit security vulnerabilities. The Service is provided for defensive security visibility purposes only.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at legal@useperimeter.com if you suspect any unauthorised access.
3. Authorised use and asset ownership
You may only scan assets you own or are explicitly authorised to monitor. By adding an asset or domain to the Service, you confirm that you own it or have obtained written permission from the asset owner to conduct automated external scanning.
You must not use the Service to scan assets belonging to third parties without authorisation, to facilitate any form of attack or intrusion, to harvest personal data from third-party systems, or for any purpose that violates applicable law.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where we have reasonable grounds to believe that scanning is being conducted without authorisation. Our full Acceptable Use Policy details permitted and prohibited conduct.
4. Trial, subscriptions, and payment
The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Where a free trial is offered, it begins on the date you activate your account. Your payment method will be charged at the applicable subscription rate when the trial period ends unless you cancel before that date.
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. All prices are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be added at the applicable rate based on your billing location. Swavvy AB is registered for VAT in Sweden (VAT number: SE559008367001). Fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated in these Terms.
We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until that date.
Upon cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for export, after which it will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including all software, algorithms, reports, interfaces, and content we create, is owned by Swavvy AB and protected by applicable intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property beyond the limited licence to use the Service as described here.
You retain ownership of any data you input into the Service, including your asset lists and account information. You grant us a limited licence to process that data as necessary to provide the Service.
7. Confidentiality
Scan results and findings generated by the Service may contain sensitive security information about your systems. You are responsible for handling this information appropriately and ensuring it is only shared with authorised personnel.
We treat your data as confidential. We will not disclose your scan results, findings, or account data to third parties except as required by law, as described in our Privacy Policy, or as necessary to provide the Service.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranty that the Service is complete, accurate, uninterrupted, or free from errors. Security scanning by its nature cannot guarantee the discovery of all vulnerabilities or exposures present in your infrastructure.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Swavvy AB and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law, or your scanning of assets you are not authorised to monitor.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time with immediate effect if you breach these Terms, engage in conduct we reasonably believe is harmful or unlawful, or if we are required to do so by law.
In the event of termination for cause, no refunds will be issued. In the event of termination by us for reasons other than breach, we will provide a pro-rated refund of prepaid fees for the unused portion of the subscription period.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice in the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you may also benefit from any mandatory protective provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident, and you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
